December 19 News

The LAST ONE this year! Original anchor and NHS grad Beth Howland visited Northside this morning. She was one of the news anchors on our very first news broadcasts last year, and she was in the art room this morning as we aired the final broadcast of 2008. (We couldn't record in the studio this week, so the girls were in the conference room!) Beth certainly came full circle this year. These are the announcements only. If the entire wrestling team would turn in your AUP's...we could air the wrestling story!

"The Day Before Christmas Vacation"

Edited by Christian Beltran.

Adaptation of Clement Moore's "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Joyce Luke...with a bit of Northside tweaking!

This was a fun holiday project for the Art and Technology class and for Mrs. Gillette's AP English class. It does not look the same as it originally aired on NHS22 "The Lion's Den" on 12-19-08 due to copyright permissions. A special thank you to Mrs. Grosskopf and Mrs. Gillette, and to the Art and Technology as well as AP English "elves" who participated!

Happy Holidays!

Welcome Monarchs!

Welcome to your go-to place for Northside High School news and video!  The Northside News was created in the spring semester of 2008.  We have recently joined the Student Television Network, and the news team will be traveling to Orlando, Florida in March to learn more about video broadcasting.  Please e-mail us and let us know how we are doing. If you have suggestions, ideas or video of a special event, we'd love to hear from you.
